Welcome to north Texas where the summers are HOT, the winters are unpredictable, and the clay runs deep. My name is Alyssa McDermott and in 2019 I set out to find all the answers to my burning gardening questions. The trouble seemed to be that there just isn’t that much information out there that caters to beginner gardeners in our region. And I know that I am not alone. Well, let’s change that, shall we? Each week on the show we’ll talk about what’s going on in my garden, as well as talk to local experts who can offer easy to understand, practical advice for gardeners of all skill levels that is specific to our region and climate.
