In the aftermath of the latest bad news regarding the ownership of the Twins, Brian and Dave admit that it caught them by surprise. As a result, they explore other events in Minnesota sports history that genuinely caught them by surprise. Dave Hoops of Hoops Brewing returns after a week away. He brings his usual for the Vikings, and tells us what beers to drink to survive the rest of the baseball season. Brian and Dave spent Monday, August 11th at Vikings Training Camp in Eagan. With the help of Nick Stoltman, they put a show together that aired on August 16th. Nick Nelson of Twins Daily tries to examine what is left of the Minnesota Twins for the final 45+ games remaining this season. Vencie Glenn is back as the preseason is upon us for the Minnesota Vikings. He examines the mindset of an NFL player during the training camp days of August.

Duluth has fallen in love with the two summer teams, the Harbor Monsters and Huskies. They play different sports, but both are vying for a championship. Brian & Dave examine the history of the Stanley Cup Final, NBA Finals, Super Bowl, and World Series and try to find times when they liked both teams.
