July 28, 2024 - "What Do You Do When You Need A Miracle?"

How much you accomplish in your life has everything to do with your dreams!  Making dreams a reality is the tough part.  Dreaming is easy!  Today I will hole out to you practical steps to take so your dreams are fulfilled.  We are going to look at Abraham.  Read Genesis 24 in preparation.  This chapter talks more about success than any other chapter in the Bible.

God works out his plan through faith!  Faith is everything to God!  In fact, the Bible says "Without faith it is impossible to please God."  How would you describe your faith?  Do you have an abundance of faith or just a little?  Does that have anything to o with the quality of your life or the happiness in your life?  How do you get more faith?  Coming this Sunday will take you in that direction as you will begin to see that achieving has everything to do with believing.

How do you picture your relationship with God?  How about a Bible picture?  Jesus explained our relationship with God and others was like a Garden with a gardener, vines and branches.  Come and refresh your view of the original picture by Jesus of being a member of the church family of Jesus Christ.

Putting others down is a common approach when people want to feel better about themselves.  It is easier to find the problem in someone else than it is to see it in ourselves.  Today the parable of Jesus reminds us to not be so quick to pull out the weeds because as we are so busy doing that we may miss what God has to say to us.  Don't miss what He has to say to you today!

This is a great parable with a great lesson for all of us!   It is a parable that is very relevant to what is happening today in America and it definitely is a parable that speaks to all of us about what can really rob of a great life.  I hope your curious, because with this message there is a lot for you to receive.

Mother's Day is a great day to celebrate.  Mom's bring so much to our life!  When I think of my mom I think of how show taught me to communicate from my heart and also that the words that I speak can affect my heart.  As we have been remembering Tina Turner's song, "What's Love Got To Do With It?"  we have come to see the importance of having a heart.  Unlike Tina's words "who needs a heart when a heart can be broken" God tells us to hold on to our heart and to invite Him into it!  That is what this message is all about as we find ourselves trying to communicate in a world that does not seem to have a heart.
