  • Crystal Lake Confidential with Amy Steel

    Howdy Campers!
On this special Friday the 13th episode, I'm at Frightmare in the Falls in Canada with Amy Steel! This is my recording of the panel with Amy Steel and me moderated by James Burrell of Rue Morgue Magazine who gave me his blessing to post this recording. Many people who attend convention panels do live recordings from the audience, so I wasn't alone! If you've never attended a convention guest panel, you'll dig on this insider view. In this episode, Amy and I talk about being cast in the movie, Sackhead Jason, action figures, and much more. This is part one of a two-part episode.

Thanks for listening and supporting The Not the Final Girl Podcast!

  • Getting Sassy with Susan Lanier

Susan Lanier is visiting the Pod this week for Halloween! Susan portrayed Brenda Carter in the original "The Hills Have Eyes" from 1977. She was directed by Wes Craven during the very start of his iconic career.
Susan was an accomplished stage actress before being hugely "discovered" for her comedic talents and gorgeousness during a meet and greet on "Happy Days" with Henry Winkler! An incredible array of roles followed on just about every television show from the 1970s - 2000s.
Susan has other surprises about herself and career, which she reveals in our Halloween chat.
Happy Halloween everyone and stay safe!

    Thanks for listening!

  • Halloween Week Fave Five

Aaron from A&B Horror movies is in the pod this week. We trade our top five horror movies starting with the 1970s. Since Aaron wasn't born yet and I was a teen, I thought it would be somewhat fair to start with my horror world combined with his and bag the 1960s!

**Gotta apologize for some random static since we were recording during a rainstorm here. EVERYTHING interferes with Wi-Fi connections in the boonies!!!**

There are so many horror films out there that I had no idea about! Many of those movies jump-started the careers of iconic directors and acted as a training ground for actors. Aaron is a big fan of Shudder, which I have yet to commit to. My husband is not all that into slashers, so I have that Catholic guilt adding Shudder to our list of streaming services. Ugh!

  • Getting Paranoid with Paranormal Investigator, Eric Vitale

    Howdy campers!

In this episode, I chat with paranormal investigator, Eric Vitale. Eric travelled the country with the show "Ghost Loop" helping people deal with hauntings in their homes. Eric's got a new film out on October 11th called Haunted Connecticut that you can find everywhere you stream the films you gotta watch. I've checked out the trailer a scary number of times and it looks just incredible!

Anyone who knows me gets how much I love anything paranormal and creep-ass as I regularly watch The Conjuring universe, Ghost Ship, The Ring, The Haunting of Hill House AND Bly Manor...need I say more?

For spooky October, I absolutely had to have a paranormal expert in the human form of Eric Vitale on the podcast!

    Enjoy and thanks for listening!
