Well.. This was a somber episode. But we got right, then we ended kinda abruptly... It's hilarious.
Greetings and salutations. Welcome back to another installment of The Nourishment Podcast.
We start off with our condolences to the gentleman XXXTentacion. That's where we stay bummed out....
Then we discuss Nas' album for a moment.. (13:20 Mark -We come back to this, more in depth later.) so that we can come to another topic for Nourishment, "Was J Edgar Hoover Black?" As he said on "Not For Radio". https://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/therootdc/post/was-j-edgar-hoover-black/2011/11/20/gIQAZcu3kN_blog.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.71b41ddb0ac5
(39:30 Mark) We jump into the Meek Mill Situation... How is this man still on Probation? No.. Seriously?
Then we try to get back to more lighthearted things. Because boy, it was a rough patch.
(52:00 Mark) we go back to talking about Nas Album. How Nas raps on records. Nas' delivery. Just a really good Nas Block. Mixed in with some G.O.O.D music talk.

  • When You Know, You Know...
    Well, this one was combative.
This week! On the Podcast's 20th Episode! Season Finale!
DMV Discussion out of nowhere. What and Who is really apart of the DMV. (And Who really cares after hearing this wild convo.)
We get into Pusha T's new album "DAYTONA" and that discussion goes down a rabbit hole that Jordan wants no part of.. Leaves Desmond and Kelvin to there back and forth.
Never get into a Pusha T convo with Kelvin.
Before we could get into the Rap Battle between Pusha T and Drake, we got a kite stating that Pusha T responded to Drake's "Duppy Freestyle" with his own "The Story Of Adidon".
Thank you for all of you that rocked out with us for these first 20 Episodes. The love is overwhelming and appreciated. We love you guys back and promise what's up next, we only get better!

  • Distractions
Well Well Well.... We have ourselves a tangent of a podcast.
    This week,
We have.. We won't call him a Special Guest, because he's family. DJ.
Kelvin scrapped the whole rap sheet for the week because Jordan refused to talk about Kanye West again. But he could have kept somethings.
Speaking on the Childish Gambino's "This is America" video, and then DJ led us down a rabbit hole of music discussion. But with a great question, "Does the album even matter anymore?"
Followed by a bunch of other randomness. Hope you all enjoy!
