Second race in, and we're already asking Mercedes to make up for their botched Australian Grand Prix.
Edition 150 of The NR F1 Podcast sees host Michael Bailey and defending prediction league champion Steve Rust tee up the 2017 Formula 1 Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai.
They get lost in what the climate means for this year's race, why Force India are behind Williams and who the race in China is most important for.
Plus David Tillyer is back on the phone - chicken all digested - as the pod wonders is it really going to be another race of the number ones? Surely Valtteri Bottas and Kimi Raikkonen will have something to say about that. Surely!

THIS IS THE NEWS! It's our first latest news pod of the new season, and Steve Rust not only returns - he also ends Pascal Wehrlein's Sauber stay for him.
That gets the news treatment alongside engine backtracking, a new Hall of Fame, and Daniel Hall's rant about fanciful McLaren predictions.
Plus David Tillyer is on the phone - and fortunately he's finished eating his chicken in double-quick time.
Host Michael Bailey ties it all together following the season-opening Australian and forthcoming Chinese Grands Prix.

Melbourne brought a legendary drive - and it wasn't from Sebastian Vettel. But it did come about from another driver supposedly 'bottling' it in Australia. All standard fare as the 2017 season-opening Formula 1 grand prix down under sparks the usual debate at The NR F1.
Back with their first race review of the new season, F1 host Michael Bailey is joined by two-times Beccles kart champion Kyle Cumbers, motoring journalist David Tillyer and Damon Hill fanatic Richard Baxter, as they try to work out what Ferrari's win really means for the F1 season ahead, where Lewis Hamilton's tyre strategy should end up, who Daniel Ricciardo annoyed to get such a rough deal around Albert Park and just how rubbish McLaren really are.
The crew also delivers the first Of The Weekend Awards of the new season.

Pink will make the fans wink! That's what Force India will be hoping anyway, come the Formula 1 2017 season-opening Australian Grand Prix at Melbourne.
In the final part of our season preview, F1 host Michael Bailey and two-times Beccles kart champion Kyle Cumbers set the scene following the end of pre-season testing and ahead of the Australian Grand Prix. They get a phone call from Perry Hamilton, who joins them in making their Melbourne predictions. And yes, Ped manages to get in a mention of Pastor Maldonado (of course it wasn't a positive one).

Let's get the 2017 season previewed from the same room Jake Humphrey sorts his morning cuppa! Presenter and sports journalist Michael Bailey is trusted to enter the Norfolk home of the former BBC Formula 1 host and TV presenter, to look ahead to the new season - and see if Humphrey misses being part of the circus.
The BT Sport front man lays into shark fins, yearns for some proper competitive action and hails Daniel Ricciardo - when Michael somehow manages to resist correcting his pronunciation.

It's all for Mercedes and Lewis Hamilton to throw away - and no one's put down a pedal in anger yet! Mind you, Michael Bailey categorically ruled out a Nico Rosberg championship this time last year - and look how that panned out.
The NR F1 Podcast continues to preview the 2017 Formula 1 season, this time with their season predictions - kicking off what promises to be a bumper year for the random, sketchy and at times unfathomable prediction league.
Edition 145 of the pod sees Michael Bailey, David Tillyer and Richard Baxter give it their best psychic shot, while the rest of the crew submit their tips - and new listener Daniel Hall states his hopes for Kevin Magnussen from Stateside.

It's not a grower - in fact, it's horrible! That's the verdict of David Tillyer as The NR F1 Podcast returns ahead of the 2017 Formula 1 season, to sum up some of the big winter stories, the first forays into pre-season testing, the new rule changes - and most importantly, those darn liveries.
Edition 144 of the pod sees Michael Bailey signal The NR F1 Podcast's intentions for the new year - the pod's sixth season - with Tillyer and Richard Baxter in tow. They also reminisce over Bernie's exit and ask the question, does Taco Bell give you the squits?

It's a bonus pod! To help while away the raceless weeks of the close season, have a special compilation (podpilation?) of some best bits from Norfolk's Formula One podcast over the course of the 2016 season. From bleeps to bloopers, sharp opinions, dodgy predictions and terrible singing, it's all here - and hopefully whets the appetite as NRF1's 2017 F1 season starts to appear on the horizon.
The end! The world's longest 2016 review and the Norfolk Formula One Podcast crew finally sign off with a few bits of F1 news, a glance at what's to come next season and THE big one - the final results of the 2016 NRF1 Prediction League!
