LAHU - USA is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, based in New York City. WE BELIEVE THAT EVERY CHILD HAS THE RIGHT TO SURVIVAL.

There is an urgent need to assure that the 3 million orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda have access to a safe home, nutritious meals, schooling, and stable communities.  Study after study demonstrates that these factors are crucial to a child's ability to thrive, and we know that helping a child flourish doesn't end with a successful guardian placement, but also depends on the stability of the community at large.

LAHU-USA is committed to facilitating empowering, sustainable change in both urban and rural Uganda. We strive to give community members the tools, training, and support to maintain and grow each project, and believe that this holistic approach fosters permanent change that will improve lives.  This is why LAHU sponsors animal husbandry, mushroom, bricklaying and horticultural projects, as well as guardian, education, and health and nutrition programs.   With your help we can improve the lives of millions of Ugandan children and their communities!

Award-winning singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Gina Brooklyn is taking the music industry by storm and she’s doing it all at the young age of seventeen.Her talent was discovered when, at just fifteen years old, she co-wrote and recorded her song "From The Outside with multi-platinum songwriting legends Mike Shimshack and Stephanie Lewis.  The song was quickly nominated in the 2016 Hollywood Songwriting Contest, , won a bronze medal at the 2017 Global Music Awards, and placed as a finalist in the 2017 John Lennon Songwriting ContestHer awards and nominations prompted Brooklyn to release her debut, self-titled EP in March of 2017. The project was released on iTunes and was well received by music critics and major media. The EP included her hit song "Faceless" which won the Artist Revelation category at the The American Tracks Music Awards in June of 2017. Keri D. Singleton has worn more than a few hats in two decades of working in and around the music industry. Radio intern, artist management, promotions assistant at Power 105 Radio in New York City, and promotions/marketing representative at several record labels and clothing lines are only a few of the titles he has held since the early 1990’s. His relentless pursuit to carve a niche in the entertainment industry has afforded him opportunities to meet legendary music icons as well as an education in the music/fashion business that no book could offer.

Singleton, who was born and raised in the Roxbury section of Boston (home of the R&B group New Edition and rap artist ED OG), had early aspirations to follow the footsteps of his music industry idol Russell Simmons. He networked with New York and Philadelphia-based promoters and artists and quickly developed working relationships with influential people across the Northeast. In 1995, while still living in Boston, he was invited to speak on a marketing panel at the Jack The Rapper Music Conference in Atlanta. The following year, Keri D. Singleton spoke at the annual Philadelphia Music Conference and was invited to sit on a panel at that conference in 1997 as well. Mr. Singleton was awarded a gold and platinum plaque for his work on reggae artist Shaggy’s Boombastic album and single in 1997 and went on to speak at Boston’s Can We Talk music seminar. Additionally, he was an awards presenter at the Boston Caribbean Music Awards that year, which followed his move to New York City where he resides today. In 2011, Keri D. Richie Evans formerly known as "Juice" possesses the intense passion and ardent lyricism as he dominates the industry bar for bar. In the beginning of his career these elements combined eventually motivated him to track down Compton artist 'The Game' and personally hand him a demo. Shortly after he became affiliated with The Game's Black Wall Street label, he took on the stage name 'Juice'. The two powerhouses collectively appeared on The late night show with David Letterman, and toured worldwide touching many cities with there presence. The Pennsylvania-born but Arizona raised artist currently has 4 released mixtapes called Death Certificate (2009), Position of Power (2009) and American Me 1 (2010) & 2 (2011). Death Certificate garnered so much attention that it was nominated for 4 Justo Awards including Mixtape of the Year. 

 

His time in the industry has already led him on a myriad of successes that most rappers could only dream of achieving. He has been featured on tracks with mainstream artist such as; Shyne, Bun B, Jayrock & Kendrick Lamar. In addition, he has done two U.S. tours and world tours throughout China, Africa, Europe, and many more. He also has been featured in renowned hip-hop publications XXL and Source, and has even performed at the 1st Annual BET Hip Hop Awards. He was presented with opportunities from other major labels but declined to venture on his own and develop his imprint and brand known as The Evans Administration or TEA. In 2013 Juice decided to change his stage name to his born name Richie Evans. Richie's powerful verses and strong passion for the industry heavily influences his talent.

LV has just announced the release of his newest single “Step Thru”. The single is the first release of his upcoming fourth project “3 King” which will be released in September, which will be an eclectic array of smooth beats and lyrics that will cross several genres and demographics. 

LV is dominating the music industry like he used dominated the basketball court. He received a full scholarship to Coppin State in Baltimore, MD where he won the NCCA Division 1 MEAC Tournament as a freshman. After earning his Bachelor’s Degree with honors, he went on to play basketball in Canada, Mexico, and Europe where he was a standout player yet again.
