"Tom Branch: Frazier-Rowe Park" 🎙️✨

The 5th and final episode of the summer podcast is a conversation with church and community member Tom Branch -- who helps coordinate the Friends of Frazier-Rowe Park: a beautiful DeKalb County Park near the Vista Grove shopping center.

Tom shares some of the story of how the park was formed, what improvements have been made the park over the years, and how folks can enjoy the park and even get involved in caring for the park.

SUMMER Podcast 2024 // S4 EP04 "David Sullivan: Walking the Neighborhood” 🎙️✨

The 4th episode of the podcast is a conversation with community member David Sullivan -- who many in the neighborhood area may know him as "the man in the yellow hat" or the "Georgia Tech Hat Guy" as he walks each morning wearing a favorite hat. (That is how he and Rev. Joseph met: walking the neighborhoods during the pandemic!)

David and his wife Ruth moved to the neighborhood 35+ years ago to raise a family and then when they were looking to downsize and move decided to stay in the Oak Grove area. David is a retired architect who is also on the board at Kingsbridge Retirement Community where many Oak Grove-related folks live.

If you see David out walking, tell him "hello!" (and that you heard/saw him on the podcast!)
