Have you ever seen an oasis? The movie's depiction of an oasis in the desert is a good one. In a desert of thirst, lush greenery pops up—a sure sign of water.

Paul had something like that in mind in the opening words of Philippians Chapter 2: a vision of people gathering together in a way that was refreshing and different—an oasis that brings life. It turns out that creating this oasis isn't easy... but it's not impossible. In fact, these verses offer two important ways we can be a part of this oasis effect. And who doesn't want the oasis to be more than a mirage?
