Hilary Graves, a music teacher, cancer survivor, and gymnastics enthusiast, took to real estate investing 3 years ago by fluke. Her husband, also a teacher, was doing some woodwork in his garage when their neighbor came in and exclaimed how the couple could make a much larger business out of fixing and reinventing homes using his skills. Since they both were home teaching virtual classes with extra time on their hands because of the pandemic, they thought, why not?? That's when it clicked for this husband-wife duo, leading them on a journey that has now made them successful real estate investors and encouraged them to found Bright Sound Investments. Having battled multiple-life threatening illnesses in the past, Hilary has grown to appreciate her time in the world, and she’s passionate about creating her ideal life. What keeps her pushing through? Is the desire to learn something new as fast as she can.
