Stacie Vanags is a surfer, host of The Salted Spirit Podcast, mental health advocate, and ocean protector.   Prior to reluctantly moving LA with her husband in 2012, this midwest native did not have much connection to saltwater.  Looking to experience something different she tried surfing and despite almost dying her first time paddling out, once she caught her first wave she was hooked! Now a Pro-Cyclist for the US Paralympics Team she has numerous wins under her belt for her short time as a pro, she’s a 2-time world champion 🌈 and 6-time world champion medalist. She is currently chasing the 2021 Tokyo Paralympic Games!
