This is an audio version of our YouTube video. La Liga betting tips and predictions for the 2021/22 season from Oddspedia. We’ve got the best betting picks and insight ahead of the new La Liga season, starting with Matchday 1 in Spain.
We start our La Liga betting preview of 2021/22 with a decent game as Valencia take on Getafe at the Mestalla. this game looks finely balanced but the hosts are marginal favourites in the curtain raiser for the Liga season on Friday night.
Espanol are back in Spain's top-flight after achieving promotion from the Segunda following a 1-year absence. Their pre-season has not been very good and their first encounter in the Primera Division will be against Osasuna. Both Cadiz and Levante will be happy to repeat last year's performances as Cadiz remained in the division following a great debut year, and Levante performed well in the first half of the season which kept them afloat. They meet on Matchday One.
Another famous Spanish side returning to the top-flight are Mallorca. They begin their new venture against Real Betis. This will be an interesting campaign for the Andalusians, with them in their second year under Manuel Pellegrini. Real Madrid are the favourites for La Liga title in 21/22, it will also be Carlo Ancelotti’s spell in charge of Los Blancos. Without Lionel Messi in the division, it's up to them to take the title tilt to their nearest city rivals Atletico.
Current champions Atletico Madrid have been handed a tricky start to the new season as they travel north to Galicia to take on Celta Vigo, who are expected to perform much better than they did last year. Barcelona have obviously lost their talisman Lionel Messi but they've also lost Sergio Aguero owing to injury. They’ve brought in Memphis Depay and a couple of new faces, however, they may not actually be able to feature due to an ongoing issue with finances and registration between Barcelona and La Liga.
Sevilla welcome back Rayo Vallecano to La Liga after a couple of seasons away. The posh club from Andalusia had a strong campaign last year after qualifying for the Champions League and will want to push on from here. The penultimate match of our La Liga betting preview sees Europa League holders Villarreal host Granada. This is Unai Emery’s second season in charge of the Yellow Submarine and it will be interesting to see how they contend with (once again) playing on both the continental and domestic fronts.
Our final game in our La Liga betting preview is Elche against Athletic Bilbao. The away opponents had a pretty horrible campaign last season after losing twe Copa del Rey finals in a space of about 2 weeks, but manager Marcelino has had a full summer now to focus on the new project, so it will be up to him to make improvements and positive changes to the squad.

This is an audio version of our YouTube video. Bundesliga betting tips and predictions for the 2021/22 season from Oddspedia. We’ve got the best betting picks and insight ahead of the new Bundesliga season, starting with Matchday 1 in Germany. Subscribe to Oddspedia to never miss our Bundesliga predictions & betting previews! The new Bundesliga campaign is upon us. Will Bayern Munich continue their insane run of dominance in Germany? Probably. But there’s only one way to find out. We start our Bundesliga betting preview of 2021/22 with a great game; Borussia Monchengladbach at home to Bayern Munich, the defending champions. Gladbach suffered a season of two halves in truth last season impressing in Europe in the group of death but then absolutely capitulating in the domestic League to finish way outside of the top-4 and down in 8th. Armenia Bielefeld did well to stay in the Bundesliga for another season last year, and again, this time out they'll be battling for survival as they kick start their campaign against Freiburg. Elsewhere, Augsburg welcome Hoffenheim to their home, whilst Stuttgart take on Bundesliga new boys Greuther Furth. Union Berlin qualified for the Europa Conference League in an impressive showing last term. This season they begin their campaign at home to Bayer Leverkusen, who are looking to return to the Champions League for the first time in three years. Marco van Bommel is the new man in the Wolfsburg hot seat. He begins his managerial career with the Wolves at home to newly-promoted side Bochum. Marco Rose will begin his Borussia Dortmund career against Eintracht Frankfurt. Eintracht were really good last season and scored loads of goals and they’ll want to capitalise on that again this season, but they will be without the likes of Andre Silva unfortunately for them. The penultimate match in our Bundesliga betting preview sees RB Leipzig take on Mainz away from home, looking to go one better this season and finally get their hands on the league title. The final match that we’ll be previewing this week is Cologne against Hertha Berlin. Both of these sides had absolutely shocking seasons last time out and Hertha Berlin, in particular, really disappointed especially with the amount of money that they spent on new signings. Both clubs and their management will be wanting to put in a much better showing in 21/22 and they’ll want to begin the season by taking all three points. Our resident host Eduardo Siles is joined by German football and betting expert Radek Vegas to preview every single match of the Bundesliga this year. This is an audio version of our YouTube video. Champions League betting tips and predictions for the 2021/22 season from Oddspedia. We’ve got the best betting picks and insight ahead of the Third Round Qualifiers (second leg) in the Champions League this week.
We start our Champions League betting preview with FC Sheriff's home game against Red Star Belgrade with the tie level at 1-1 following the first leg draw in Serbia. Slavia Prague impressed many people last season during their Europa League campaign and they were looking to go one step further and qualify for the Champions League this year. However, their route to Europe's premier continental club competition could soon be ended following their 2-0 defeat to Hungarian side Ferencvaros last time out.
One of the best games in this run of fixtures is Shakhtar Donetsk against Genk. This, on paper, could be a Champions League group stage clash, but only one of them will be progressing to the next stage. It's currently 2-1 to Shakhtar on aggregate.
Two other good games; Sparta Prague travel to the French principality of Monaco, and Danish side FC Midtjylland host Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven who are in red hot form. Elsewhere, Bulgarian side Ludogorets have the chance to reach the playoffs of the Champions League following their 1-1 first leg draw against Greek heavyweights Olympiakos.
Swiss side Young Boys welcome Romanian outfits Cluj in their second-leg tie with the game level at one goal each following their away trip last week. The Super League side are overwhelming favourites to win and qualify for the next stage. There's just three other games to look at starting with Portuguese side Benfica taking on Russian club Spartak Moscow in a clash that wouldn't look out of place in the Champions League group stage.
Legia Warsaw against Dinamo Zagreb will be a game full of tension and a superb atmosphere between these hot-headed and lively fanbases. This game - like so many others - ended 1-1 after the first leg, so there's still lots to play for, especially with the demise of the away goals rule. The final game that we're looking at on this Champions League betting show is Rangers’ game against Swedish side Malmo. This is potentially Steven Gerrard's most important game of his managerial career so far!
Eduardo Siles is very well supported by the one-and-only Daniele Fisichella, a diligent and brilliant European football expert. They’re here to discuss all things Champions League in this week’s Odds On episode.

The favourites to win the 2021/22 Ligue 1 title is undoubtedly Paris Saint-Germain. Mauricio Pochettino’s side missed out on their eighth league title in nine years after Lille shocked France to clinch top spot. Pochettino’s entering his first full season of management in the French capital, and this season they’ve improved their already-star studded squad.
So yeah, alongside Neymar, Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria they’ve now added Gianluigi Donnarumma from Milan - Euro 2020 winner, of course - as well as Spain legend Sergio Ramos from Real Madrid. That is a decent upgrade. Oh, and they’ve also brought in Achraf Hakimi from Serie A winners Inter Milan. They’re definitely the ones to beat this season in Ligue 1.
The Parisiens are top-dogs but let’s take a look at the other contenders. Lyon are the definite second-side in France once again, but this time out they’re without Memphis Depay as the Dutch international joined Spanish giants Barcelona over the summer. Then we’ve got defending champions Lille. They might be the reigning title holders but they’ve changed their manager in the off-season.
Further back in the bookmakers odds we’ve got the likes of Monaco, Marseille and Nice, it’s certainly going to be an interesting season for each of these to see if they can break into the top two or three in the division.
That’s right, this season we’re covering every match of the Ligue 1 season, as well as every match across Europe’s top-five leagues.
Our resident host Eduardo Siles is very well supported by Alain Valnegri, a Ligue 1 football expert and journalist. They’re here to discuss all things French football in this week’s Odds On episode.

This is an audio version of our YouTube video. Bundesliga betting tips and predictions for the 2021/22 season from Oddspedia. The Bundesliga campaign is just 10 days away. No Account at Novibet yet? Claim your £10 Free Bet directly: bit.ly/3i41Ttf It’s been a very busy summer with the 2020 European Championships ongoing and continuing the already very long football season. There’s also plenty of transfer business still to be done before the window *slams* shut. The favourite to win the 2021/22 Premier League title is undoubtedly Bayern Munich. Julian Nagelsmann’s side are fully expected (by the bookmakers) to defend their crown in another busy campaign. They’ve got best odds of 1.25 to lift the trophy for a tenth consecutive season in a row. Imagine how those odds are going to shorten if Erling Haaland actually leaves Dortmund this summer! It’s Dortmund, RB Leipzig and the likes of Bayer Leverkusen and Borussia Monchengladbach who trail the Bavarian giants. The top 3 clubs have all appointed new managers in the off-season, with Julian Nagelsmann younger than a number of his Bayern Munich squad! Jesse Marsch is a relative unknown at RB Leipzig following Nagelsmann’s switch to the Bundesliga champions. Whilst in Dortmund, they’ve now got Marco Rose in the hot seats following his fairly disastrous last season performance with their rivals Gladbach. Bookmakers literally will not accept bets on Bayern Munich to finish in the top 4 it's that much of a certainty. And similar to the outright winner odds for the Bundesliga title, it's really amongst Dortmund, RB Leipzig, Bayer Leverkusen and Gladbach to challenge for the top 4. But watch out for the likes of Hoffenheim, Hertha Berlin and Stuttgart as well as Eintracht Frankfurt to mount a serious bid for that final Champions League qualification spot. At the other end of the table, it’s the clubs from 2. Bundesliga who are looking likely to be facing a serious fight for survival in the Bundesliga this season. Greuther Fürth are the favourites to be relegated alongside Bochum. Armenia Bielefeld struggled for a lot of last season and they’re also going to be down at the bottom of the table for another season. Meanwhile, Augsburg will also need to perform if they are to keep out of trouble Eduardo Siles is very well supported by the one-and-only Radek Vegas, Oddspedia’s German football and betting expert. No Account at Novibet yet? Claim your £10 Free Bet directly: bit.ly/3i41Ttf The new Primera Division season is just around the corner. So Oddspedia are here to give you betting insight ahead of the season start for the outright winners, top-4 challengers, surprise packages and the battle for relegation. Atletico Madrid are the defending champions of the Spanish top-flight after stunning their rivals Barcelona and Real Madrid to pull off a sensational title lift. Diego Simeone’s side stunned Barca and Los Blancos in the first half of the season last year by securing 50 points in just 19 games. They managed to hold on to this convincing lead by taking 36 points for the remainder of the season leading them to an unlikely Championship. It looks like it will be a three-horse race for the Liga title between Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, with the likes or Sevilla and Real Sociedad battling it out for fourth position and automatic qualification for the Champions League. The bookmakers have Barcelona and Real as the favourites, with odds around 2.5 and 3.0 Ronaldo Koeman’s side have updated their attacking options with Sergio Aguero and Memphis Depay joining La Blaugrana. For Real, Zinedine Zidane left over the summer with Carlo Ancelotti coming in to replace the famous Frenchman. With Raphael Varane also leaving the Spanish capital to move to Manchester, there are question marks at both ends of the field in attack and in defence. Despite being the league champions, Atletico are third favourites for the title. Perhaps their second-half performance is their true level heading into the new season. There’s also lots to wrap-up on the transfer front, with plenty of deals still yet to be confirmed before the season starts. With Espanyol and Majorca both returning to Spain's top-flight this season, there is an abundance of quality teams now in the Primera Division, meaning that the relegation fight is going to be tighter than ever. The likes of Alaves and Elche will have to be at their very best if they’r to remain in the division for another season, whilst Rayo Vallecano will also be tested across a long season in Spain. Eduardo Siles is very well supported by the one-and-only Alvaro Romeo, a diligent and brilliant Spanish football expert. They’re here to discuss all things Spanish football in this live show.
