  • Odds On: La Liga Matchday 8 - Football Match Tips, Bets, Odds & Predictions

This is an audio version of our YouTube video.

We’re back for another Odds On: La Liga show, and this time it’s a preview of Matchday 8.  There’s some fascinating, intriguing, compelling and engaging storylines and narratives wherever you look across the division and it all kick-starts on Friday night. Eibar host everyone’s second-team Cadiz in the Basque Country.

Real Madrid is the early kick-off on Saturday. Los Blancos welcome winless Huesca to the Spanish capital, a side whose last away win came in July against Sporting Gijon. For the defending champions, Real, it’s been an up-and-down beginning to their campaign. Zizou’s men lost back-to-back games to Cadiz and Shakhtar, before winning in El Clasico, and then drawing 2-2 with Gladbach in the Champions League. It feels like Zidane’s constantly on the brink of chaos, but somehow manages to keep the cart from toppling over the cliff.

Elsewhere among clubs expected to challenge for the title, Atletico Madrid travel to Pamplona to play Osasuna; a club celebrated by one of Spain’s most passionate fan bases. Diego Simeone’s men are the only unbeaten team remaining in the Primera Division, having won three of their five La Liga fixtures so far. Typical Rojiblancos, they’ve only conceded one goal since the restart, and they’re one of only two clubs to have double figures for goals scored.

Finally, we come to Barcelona. Eesh. Ronald Koeman’s Blaugrana currently sit 12th in La Liga, having been beaten in their last two games to Real Madrid and Getafe. It’s all gone a bit wrong for Barca in the last couple of months, and this week hasn’t exactly been smooth sailing either. Club president Josep Bartemou stepped down from his position. But he didn’t exactly go quietly; dropping the bombshell of Barca’s interest in a European Super League. This weekend, Barca are away to Alaves in a game they simply must win to return their season to some sort of normality.

Our regular host Eduardo Siles is joined by Spanish football expert Alvaro Romeo to discuss all things Spanish football, as our Xavi and Iniesta look analyse, preview and dissect La Liga’s Matchday 8 action.

Odds on Premier League. Betting preview for Premier League. Premier League football bets. Premier League best odds.

Premier League Matchday 7 betting tips? We got ‘em. It’s been a chaotic and wild start to the new 2020/21 season, but last week felt a little more… normal? The biggest score line of the weekend saw Leeds down Aston Villa at Villa Park, with the majority of all other games separated by just one goal. Is this a sign of things to come in England’s top-flight? Time will tell.

Matchday 7’s action starts at Molineux, as Wolves’ Portuguese contingent taking on Roy’s boys Palace on Friday night. Saturday is a busier affair, with Manchester City travelling to Bramall Lane to play winless Sheffield United in the early kick-off. Chelsea, on their return from Russia, are on the road again at Turf Moor, and champions Liverpool host West Ham – a side that continue to shock opponents.

Moving into Sunday’s play, Aston Villa entertain form-side Southampton. Brucey’s Magpies host Everton (giving everyone flashbacks of Alan Shearer’s iconic strike), and Spurs will look to advance their mini-title challenge when Brighton come knocking.   But before that is the game of the weekend in the Premier League: Manchester United vs Arsenal. The Red Devils are on their worst run of results at home domestically for almost 30 years. But then look at them go in Europe! Downing PSG with a late strike in Matchday 1 and then following up on Wednesday by absolutely smashing Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig 5-0. Which side will turn up this week when the Mikel Arteta’s side take to the field at the Theatre of Dreams?

Our host Eduardo is once again joined by football writer and broadcaster Tom Williams to discuss every Premier League game this weekend in detail. We’ll be offering you our hottest takes, latest news and best odds, as we try to unravel the mystery of England’s top-flight in 2020.  For all the latest (and best) Premier League odds ahead of the weekend’s action, head to http://oddspedia.com/football where you’ll find everything you need to secure your best bet.

Bayern Munich betting tips. Bayern tips. Betting on Bundesliga. Odds on Bundesliga. Betting preview for Bundesliga. Bundesliga football bets. Bundesliga best odds. Bayern vs Cologne tips. Bayern vs Koln bets. Dortmund bets. Dortmund tips. Bundesliga betting tips. Bundesliga Matchday 6 previews.

It’s Matchday 6 in Germany! It’s been a busy couple of days since last weekend’s fixtures, with some of Bundesliga’s key protagonists featuring in some important ties in Europe’s premier competition.  On Tuesday night, Bayern Munich overcame a tricky test in Moscow, narrowly beating Lokomotiv 2-1, and Gladbach let an 87th minute 2-0 lead slip to Real Madrid, eventually drawing the game. In other news, Borussia Dortmund host Russian side Zenit on Wednesday, and league leaders RB Leipzig head to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United.   But all that pales in comparison to the domestic action. That’s what we all came for, and that’s what we’re here to deliver today. Best odds, tips and predictions on every Bundesliga game across Matchday 6.

We kickstart with hopeless Schalke against Stuttgart. Will they finally record their first league win since January? Well, probably not with their visitors riding high in fifth spot after the opening five games. Defending champions Bayern Munich are on the road; they head to Cologne, another side struggling for form, currently languishing in the relegation play-off position.   Hertha’s terrible run of four games could be extended when they play unbeaten Wolfsburg on Saturday. But the Wolves have drawn four of five. Dormund go to Bielefeld (if it exists) to play Arminia, and two Champions League sides will also face-off, when Gladbach entertain current table-toppers Leipzig in Saturday’s late kick-off. So there’s loads of storylines across the division.

We’ve got the best odds, up to date news, betting info and predictions. The Champions League is back. Again. And we couldn’t be more ready for Matchday 2. We saw some enthralling action unfold last week, including Marcus Rashford’s late strike downing Paris Saint-Germain for Manchester United, defending champions Bayern Munich thrashing Atletico Madrid 4-0, Shakhtar stunning Real Madrid and Lazio rising to beat Dortmund at home.

We’re here to chat everything Champions League Wednesday. It’s Matchday 2 of the 2020/21 competition, and we’ve got some absolute crackers to discuss, preview and analyse. Manchester United, whose last home win in all competitions was in August, host Bundesliga leaders RB Leipzig at the Theatre of Dreams. Elsewhere, in their group, French champions and last year’s runner-up Paris Saint-Germain travel to the Turkish capital to play Istanbul Basaksehir. That’s a vital game for Thomas Tuchel and his players.

Chelsea also make a long trip across to Russia to play Krasnodar, Dortmund host Zenit and Sevilla entertain French side Rennes. However, the highlight of Wednesday’s European action is likely to unfold at the J Stadium in northern Italy, as Barcelona take on Juventus. It’s meant to be Cristiano vs Messi. That’s what we all wanted when the draw was made, but CR7 is sitting out the tie after testing positive for Covid-19.

Again, this week we’ve treated you with two luxury guests. They’re not quite Xavi and Iniesta, but they’re the next best thing. Eduardo Siles is joined by Italian football expert Daniele Fisichella and Spanish football reporter Alvaro Romeo. • Odds On: La Liga Week 7 - Football Match Tips, Bets, Odds & Predictions

This is an audio version of our YouTube video.

El Clasico tips. El Clasico odds. El Clasico betting. Betting on La Liga. Odds on La Liga. Real Madrid bets. Real Madrid tips. Real Madrid odds. Barcelona odds. Barcelona tips. Barcelona bets. Betting preview for La Liga. Spanish football bets. Spanish football best odds. La Liga betting tips. La Liga match previews. Primera Division betting.

El Clasico. It’s the big one. Twice a season this comes around and it’s always the most important game of the weekend in La Liga. Barcelona vs Real Madrid. This game used to represent Lionel Messi vs Cristiano Ronaldo, but now it’s Messi vs Sergio Ramos. Maybe?   This week’s Clasico has a very different feel to it. Both sides have suffered in recent times both on and off the pitch. Barcelona’s summer was nothing short of a disaster.

The 8-2 defeat to Bayern Munich was a humiliation for the Catalan club, but the Lionel Messi saga was potentially even more damaging to the club. The world’s greatest player – desperate – to leave Camp Nou for pastures new. The Argentine Magician stayed, but at what cost? Leo is looking a little lost at the moment. We feel he could do with an arm around the shoulder and a big hug, but we’re not sure you’d want one of those from new boss Ronald Koeman.

Real, meanwhile, are perennially on the edge of meltdown. Despite the fact their manager has led them to numerous Champions League titles, and they’re the defending league champions after a terrific array of performances post-lockdown. The fact of the matter is that Los Blancos has always been run like this, and the board, directors and owners will always see head coaches as dispensable. Could a big defeat to Barcelona see the end of Zizou at the Bernabeu for a second time? We will have to wait and see.

It’s hard to think otherwise, but el Clasico isn’t the only game being played this weekend in the Primera Division. Atletico will look to pick up the pieces after their 4-0 defeat to Bayern in midweek European action, Valencia are desperate to find some form and Getafe will aim to continue their fine start to the 2020/21 campaign as Madrid’s third club.   As always, host Eduardo is joined by Spanish football expert Alvaro Romeo to discuss each and every fixture in matchday 7 of La Liga 2020/21.

Our two protagonists (think of them as Cristiano and Lionel, but with genuine adoration for one another) cover all the vital info, news and headlines you’ll need to place your best bet ahead of La Liga matchday 7.   For all the latest La Liga odds ahead of this year’s finals, head to oddspedia.com/football.

  • Odds On: Premier League Week 6 - Football Match Tips, Bets, Odds & Predictions

This is an audio version of our YouTube video.

Betting tips on the 2020/21 Premier League season? Basically an impossible task! But we’re here to guide you through the twist and turns, the shocks and triumphs, the winners and losers. This season’s English top-flight has been more exciting than ever, with some incredible matches, results, goals and decisions. So, what next? Let’s find out.  Five games in, and it’s a top two that few (no-one) would have put money on at the start of the campaign. Everton sit at the summit with Aston Villa tucked in behind in second place as the only unbeaten sides in the division. Should the Villans avoid defeat to Leeds on Friday night, they’ll top the Prem for the first time since August 2011. Utter madness.

A Midlands’ side, narrowly avoiding relegation the season prior, charging to the top of the table a few weeks later… is this a Leicester City 2.0 season? No, probably not.   The early game on Saturday sees Davey Moyes’ Hammers play host to Pep’s Manchester City. West Ham earned a take-your-shirt-off-in-excitement point against Spurs last Sunday, when Manuel Lanzini hit an absolute belter into the top corner to complete a 3-3 comeback at Tottenham’s ground. It was pandemonium in north London. Will West Ham produce another shock this weekend?  But the big game of the weekend involves the other side in Manchester. United will take on Frank Lampard’s Chelsea at Old Trafford, looking to finally glean some consistency from a confusing start to their campaign. Beaten by Palace, played off the park by Brighton, thrashed by Spurs, but a win over Paris Saint-Germain in France. Try and make sense of that.

Our host Eduardo is once again joined by football writer and broadcaster Tom Williams to discuss every Premier League game this weekend in detail. We’ll be offering you our hottest takes, latest news and best odds, as we try to unravel the mystery of England’s top-flight in 2020.  For all the latest (and best) Premier League odds ahead of the weekend’s action, head to oddspedia.com where you’ll find everything you need to secure your best bet.   And don’t forget to check our betting tools to discover Sure Bets, Dropping Odds, Value Bets, Blocked Odds and Blocked Matches.

  • Odds On: Bundesliga Week 5 - Football Match Tips, Bets, Odds & Predictions

This is an audio version of our YouTube video.

The Bundesliga returns for Week 5 action following a busy midweek for many German sides across European competition. The Champions League holders, Bayern Munich, breezed past La Liga’s Atletico Madrid with a 4-0 victory at the Allianz on Wednesday night.  Meanwhile, elsewhere, Gladbach performed brilliantly to earn a point against Antonio Conte’s Inter Milan. Finally, RB Leipzig continued their impressive start to the season with a comfortable 2-0 win to go top of Group C, a group that also includes Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain.  And it’s Leipzig where we start today, where else than the Bundesliga leaders. Julian Nagelsmann’s side have 10 points from four games and face Hertha at home this weekend. Hertha, themselves, are as inconsistent as they come – winning 4-1 in their season opener before losing the following three league games.

Bayern are also featuring in Saturday’s line-up. The Bavarians host Eintracht Frankfurt, one of only two teams not to have suffered defeat so far this season in Germany’s top-flight, and currently sit fourth in the table. Elsewhere, Borussia Monchengladbach travel to Mainz, a team rooted to the bottom of the division after an abysmal start to the year (four straight defeats).

But the biggest game of the weekend will be taking place in the Ruhr region, with Dortmund taking on Schalke in another fiery Revierderby. BVB are huge favourites this time around, largely due to Schalke’s appalling form. S04 have won just ONE game since January, and their last away win came against Werder Bremen in November 2019.  We’ve got the best odds, up to date news, betting info and predictions.

Anticipation vibrating. And then, the crescendo... the voices sing out, loud and proud: "Die meister,  die besten, les grandes équipes, the champions!". Like angels descending from heaven, Champions League football is back. And boy, are we excited!

The pinnacle of European, nay, WORLD football has returned for the 2020/21 campaign. Who remembers last year’s competition? Of course you do, it only finished about a week ago. Mighty Bayern Munich completed a triumphant treble to lift the big-eared trophy, downing Neymar & Mbappe’s Paris Saint-Germain in the final in Lisbon.

And now it’s time to do it all over again. The 2020/21 Champions League draw has been drawn. All participants know what they’re up against. We’ve got the teams, we’ve got the groups, we’ve got the schedule. Now it’s time for the action to begin.  As always, the balls from the bags have thrown up some very spicy spectacles. And we’re not talking Edgar Davids. Group B looks pretty gnarly, with Gladbach, Inter, Real Madrid & Shakhtar. But then there’s Group D: Atalanta, Ajax, Liverpool & Midjtylland. But then wait, what about Group H? PSG, Man Utd, RB Leipzig & Istanbul Basaksehir. It’s gonna be great.

So, what’s going to happen? Well, that’s our cue for Eduardo and Radek to arrive. Our football and betting experts will be covering every fixture across Tuesday’s Week 1 fixtures (with Wednesday’s to follow on, you guessed it: Wednesday).
