Costs and availability of electric construction equipment can present a barrier to adoption, but it is noted that much can be learned from successful European initiatives, such as those seen in Oslo. C40 Cities aims to expand globally, incorporating more of the global South, highlighting benefits such as improved air quality and reduced noise in the workplace, in addition to addressing the climate issue.

The NYC MOCEJ launched the North American Electric Construction Coalition last September. This episode introduces you to the coalition which aims to promote electric construction equipment across North America.
