Who has experienced this at work? 🙋🏼♀️ it doesnt feel great. We often poke fun or mention our own anxiety first as a way to protect ourselves, but unfortunately, it can end up activating the wrong type of people. Some people also start joking about it without you initiating first, not to be mean or bully you, but simply because they’ve heard you say it so often that they think it must be ok, or that they are somehow making you feel better by making light of it…there are a lot of reasons someone could be doing this. The point is, you can turn this around and shed your anxious identity. You need to become aware of what you are doing to keep yourself stuck in it, first. #anxietyatwork #anxiousachiever #careertok
