The Official Harmonix Podcast

Well folks, Rock Band 3 is less than a month away and there's still tons of awesome stuff to talk about! Can you handle the anticipation?

PAX was awesome this year! Thanks to everyone who came out and made our BYO-Booth the greatest DIY booth to have ever existed. If you weren't at PAX we missed you tons – so this podcast is for you!

Hey everyone – we’re in the middle of a big stretch of summer travel gearing up for the release of Rock Band 3! HMXJohnD and I give you a quick wrap up of our adventures in Germany and all of the crazy goings on there.

Hey everyone – welcome back to another episode of the Harmonix Community Podcast. This week we've got two extra special guests, Rachel Johnson and Mike Georgeson. They're here to help us revive our Social! segment after it's summer vacation. We're talking about punch, pie, yardsales, and the phenomenal club history of our fair Cambridge.

Hey everyone – we went to Comic-Con last week. It was awesome. If you were caught up by all the cos-play and missed out on our adventures, tweets, and new RB3 news then check out this podcast.

We're full swing into summer and battling crazy adventures on the road, massive rainfall here in Boston, and sweltering heat. The Community Team continues pushing on though, bringing you more podcast goodness to keep you cool and refreshed. Up this week, an incredible "So You Want To Be…" segment.

We're back from E3, but still haven't recovered. It was an amazing time and we've got lots to talk about! We do just that in this episode, with special guests, including the Rock Band Forums' favorite, Beard Man, aka Windhammer, aka Rob Weychert, who is, sadly, moving on to start his own company in NYC.

We've got exclusive interviews with our awesome Dance Central choreographers, as well as with Rock Band 3 Senior Designer Sylvain Dubrofsky, who gives us the gritty details about what Rock Band Pro is all about. After that we divert from our norm and forego the DLC Roundtable for the Rock Band 3 track list roundtable! We discuss the 22 tracks that have been announced thus far.

Mr. Pope sits down with Chris Foster (HMXSlappy) to get the full scoop on Green Day: Rock Band. If you offered up questions about the game on the forums you'll want to listen in. HMXSlappy covers everything from mo-cap techniques to song selection to design insights.

Saddle up and hit the streets with this week’s podcast. We’ve got two new additions to our “So You Want to be a Game Developer” series with Audio QA Vocal Lead HMXPardo and Audio Manager Heather Wilson.
