The Official Harmonix Podcast

Another podcast, another special guest! HMXHenry guest-hosts again as we chat with Playtest Coordinator Matty Studivan about our favorite holiday songs and movies. Spoiler alert: most holiday songs are total bummers. Listen in and then share your favorite holiday songs in the comments!

This episode we welcome a very special guest, the one and only Mr. Adam Cardoza. Adam is a game designer here at Harmonix and also a very knowledgeable wrestling fan. The team explores what they think their own personal wrestling theme songs would be if they are ever introduced into a squared circle.

With Thanksgiving and Black Friday behind them, the team share their holiday experiences with you, along with some great discussion of the WiiU. If you are a Rock Band Wii player and are wondering about WiiU compatibility, you’ll want to listen in! Also, if you are a fan of Texas swamps and shipwrecks, this is the podcast you’ve been waiting for.

In the spirit of our favorite holiday, this podcast is stuffed with Thanksgiving cheer, like so many turkeys, hams, and turduckens are stuffed with, well, stuffing. We discuss our different T-Day loadouts, and get down to brass tacks about Aaron’s disgusting meat gelatin addiction. It’s a fun one, best served with cylindrical cranberry sauce!

Halloween thrills and chills abound in this ghoulishly delightful episode. We talk to Dance Central 3’s Senior Producer, Naoko Takamoto, about what goes in to choreographing all those amazing dance sequences in the game. We also, in the spirit of the week, chat about our favorite horror movies and videogames! HOLD ONTO YA SOULS!

Dance Central 3 came out this week!!! As you’d expect, this podcast is heavy on the DC3 talk and details. But not to worry, fans of our more, let’s call it inane, talk - we've got that too. But what are you doing still reading this? LISTEN UP!

We’ve got a short episode this week, but that just means it is DENSE like a podcast black hole, with content and info and goofs and spoofs. This is our last podcast before Dance Central 3 hits store shelves, so we devote most of our time giving you all the info you could ask for. Enjoy!

The full team is finally back from travelling literally around the world. We get an incredible travel recap from John Drake, our own resident Amelia Earhart, who trekked across Asia peddling Dance Central 3, while Annette, Nick, and Jessa did the same in Europe. The rest of us stayed home sick. We also have a slew of really big deal announcements to discuss, so you’ll find that this podcast actually has some real content! Wait wait… have fun.

The gang is back from a super successful PAX Prime in Seattle, although none of them have gotten any rest yet. So sit back and marvel at these insane maniacs shout about all the crazy things they did at this year's PAXtravaganza!

With the release of our newest game, Rock Band Blitz, (coming next week - 8/28 PSN, 8/29 XBLA) this podcast is spent chatting with the game’s Project Director Matthew Nordhaus. The crew gets deep into some Rock Band Blitz play strategies, as well as discussing in depth a lot of the finer points of the game’s mechanics, as well as our brand new Facebook companion app, Rock Band World. This is probably one of the most information-soaked episodes, so listen closely, you won’t want to miss anything!
