Danny Syvret was considering Yale before signing with the London Knights. It turned out to be an okay decision. Syvret would go on to be named an OHL and CHL defenceman of the year, a Memorial Cup champion and all-star, and a member of the CHL's Team of the Century. Along the way, there were also several international medals, including Gold at the 2005 World Juniors.
