Pastor Jesse Dan-Yusuf⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠ teaches in this episode that compassion is a deep emotional response that leads us to take action. He reiterates that compassion is mercy in action and that mercy is an expression of God's favour and kindness towards undeserving persons. Therefore, as people who benefit from God's compassion, when we hear and see the sufferings of our brothers and sisters, we must be moved to action. Our response should not be to feel the pity yet turn our backs. In our days, people will not see Jesus physically but they will see us; when they do, let them encounter Jesus in us.
