STOCKS TO WATCH: $COST $SOFI $COIN $NET $BIVI

Costco Wholesale (COST) - The company will report monthly sales results for April on Wednesday of next week. This has been a news catalyst for Costco over the last few years -- albeit a modest one.

 

SoFi Technologies (SOFI) - Will report quarterly results on Monday before market open. A trader in Benzinga Pro's lounge chat on Friday morning highlighted a trading idea in the stock based on a favorable chart setup. The trader suggested SoFi was the "only regional that has remained strong through this mess." Coinbase (COIN) - Will report earnings on Thursday after market close. Analysts currently expect Coinbase to report a loss of $1.36 per share on sales of $650 million.

 

Cloudflare (NET) - One of Friday morning's biggest losers. Shares of this software company were down more than 20% following mixed quarterly results and guidance.

 

BioVie (BIVI) - A play on an upcoming FDA-related news catalyst. The company is expected to issue results from a Phase 2 trial for its Parkinson's drug candidate later on Friday. A company-issued press release suggested the presentation would happen after 8 p.m. EDT.
