1: We at least desired to counterattack tonight, but lacked execution. That’s on coaching. Our best open play opportunity came from Thiago after staying compact and winning the ball back and GOING. 

2: In the first half there JNCO sized pockets of space that no one was running in to. That’s on the players. The movement off the ball in the second half improved. Hard to counter when the runs don’t happen. 

3: Guzan isn’t losing his spot. He was great. 

4: Defensively we look much more organized and compact. There were a couple scary moments in the first half but you can see that the chemistry and communication is building. 

5: Maybe a small thing, but Gonzo did not look all that thrilled at the end. Good. I think he was really annoyed at the goal we conceded, even if it was a quality hit from a man who’s done it many times before. The mentality of not being satisfied is good.
