Have you ever felt God nudging you to do something that was completely outside your comfort zone?

In this episode, I'm sharing the personal testimony of the first time I heard God's voice! It happened during something I had already decided I would never participate in because it was so different from what I was used to.

But God had other plans.

What started as something I never thought I would do turned into a moment with God that I will never forget.

This experience taught me so much about obedience, surrender, and being willing to say yes to God, even when His leading doesn't look like what we expected.

Sometimes, the moments that change us most begin with a simple act of obedience.

For almost two years, I've felt God nudging me toward starting a podcast. I kept telling myself I'd do it later—when I had more time, when I knew what I was doing, when I felt more qualified.

But eventually, I had to ask myself: What am I waiting for?

In this first episode of The One Who Holds the Pen, I'm sharing why I finally said yes, what a mission trip taught me about our everyday mission field, and why I believe God can use ordinary people in ordinary places to make an eternal impact.

You don't have to have it all figured out. You don't have to feel qualified. Sometimes you just have to be willing to obey.

Because the question isn't always, “Am I ready?”

Sometimes it's simply, “Am I willing to say yes?”
