God establishes His covenant with Abram, promising countless descendants and the land of Canaan. Through trials, the birth of Ishmael, and the renaming of Abram to Abraham and Sarai to Sarah, the stage is set for the miraculous birth of Isaac and the fulfillment of God's promise.

God scatters humanity by confusing their language at Babel. Abram is called to leave his home, journeying to Canaan with promises of land and descendants. After a famine and a separation from Lot, Abram rescues him from captivity and is blessed.

Noah obeys God, and the flood destroys all but those in the ark. The waters recede, God makes a covenant with Noah, and nations descend from his sons.

Genesis 4-6 and First Chronicles 1:1: Cain kills Abel, descendants multiply, and sin increases. God warns of judgment but shows favor to Noah, commanding him to build an ark to save his family and creation.

Genesis 1-3: God creates the world, man, and woman. Adam and Eve live in Eden but disobey God by eating the forbidden fruit. Sin enters the world, and they are cast out of the garden.
