Glen Weyl is an economist and a researcher at Microsoft and author of the book Radical Markets: Uprooting Capitalism and Democracy for a Just Society with co-author Eric Posner. Weyl is co-creator of quadratic voting, a collective decision-making procedure designed to allow fine-grained expression of how strongly voters feel about an issue, and quadratic funding, a method of democratically disbursing resources Weyl uses ideas from political economy to develop social technology for widely-shared prosperity and diverse cooperation. Those ideas have inspired a social movement, RadicalxChange, that convenes activists, artists, entrepreneurs and researchers using information technology and market mechanisms to create a richer and more equal society.

Weyl helped catalyze this collaboration as Founder and Chair of the RadicalxChange Foundation. Through that work he became co-chair and technical lead of the Harvard Edmond J. Safra Center on Ethics Rapid Response Task Force on Covid-19, the recommendations from which were endorsed by a dozen leading civil society organizations and the Biden campaign, among others.

Michael Graziano is an Author, scientist, professor of psychology, and neuroscience at Princeton University, his lab/research focuses on the brain basis of consciousness.  The attention schema theory of consciousness proposes that an attention schema is like the ‘body schema'. Just like the brain constructs a simplified model of the body to help monitor and control movements of the body, so the brain constructs a simplified model of attention to help monitor and control attention. Information in that model, portraying an imperfect and simplified version of attention, leads the brain to conclude that it has a non-physical essence of awareness. He Posits Consciousness is informational & mechanistic in nature and not magical or mysterious, in theory when we have the technology to scan/upload our cognitive data onto a computer/avataar/robot/machine we will be able to transfer consciousness too.

WORLDS 1ST HUMAN HEAD TRANSPLANTATION-DR SERGIO CANAVERO Dr. Sergio Canavero is an Italian neurosurgeon known for his controversial claims about the near-term feasibility of head transplantation— the grafting of a head onto a new body— in humans.  He made headlines in 2015 when he publicly announced that he would perform such a procedure on a human in two years' time. In 2017, Canavero and colleagues performed a rehearsal head transplantation procedure on two cadavers, and he announced his intention to "imminently" perform the operation on a live human patient paralyzed from the neck down. As of 2022, however, this has not yet happened.

COMPUTATIONAL NEUROSCIENCE & NEUROMODULATORS Dr. Srikanth Ramaswamy is a Computational Neuroscientist, Principal Investigator at Newcastle University a Marie Curie Fellow, Fulbright Scholar, and Senior Scientist in the Cells & Circuits Section of the Simulation Neuroscience Division.  Dr. Ramaswamy leads the effort to model synaptic transmission and neuromodulation in the Blue Brain Project’s flagship simulations of neocortical tissue, under the direction of Prof. Henry Markram, and in close collaboration with Dr. Eilif Muller, Prof. Idan Segev, and Prof. Javier DeFelipe.  Dr. Ramaswamy joined the Blue Brain Project in 2006, as one of its first scientific team members and completed his PhD. under the supervision of Prof. Henry Markram in 2011. He then did a brief postdoc at the EPFL and the CHUV until his appointment as a Senior Scientist at the Blue Brain Project in 2014.
