Episode 127: How To Get Clients With Challenges
Today, we'll discuss on how to win clients using challenges. But before tackling that down, you need to make sure you have the ability to market programs.
You need to:
- be an attractive character and stand for a particular thing
- niche down
- make sure that the group of people you're marketing for have the same problems and interests
When doing challenges if you are on video you have that competitive advantage over other trainers.
The problem with most personal trainers is that we're chasing clients. In this world where there's so many followers, they'll look for leaders. And by doing challenges and delivering results first, you are able to position yourself as the expert authority and illustrate yourself as a leader.
Don't stay in the middle. Stand up for what you believe in.
If you demonstrate something that somebody already knows you will never convert them. When running challenges, you need to make them move out of their comfort zone. The whole point of a challenge is to not stay on your comfort zone. You need to prove them wrong and suspend their beliefs by delivering results. After seeing the results, no client will argue about your credibility and then you educate them on what to do next.
Remember that people want something new. So your first task for today is to go find where you can turn and market your program in a unique and cool way. Think of ways to make challenges look cool. Your second task is to go out there and share this to a trainer, a friend, a coach and brainstorm together.
