Ephesans 4:1-16 was our text. The Apostle Paul said that we are to live in a manner that is worthy of the Love and Sacrifice that Jesus gave on our behalf. So what does living like that look like? According to Paul, a big part of it is that we "Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Making every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace."
I know it's hard to believe, but PEOPLE HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING ALONG WITH EACH OTHER. Conflict happens, even in the family of God (the church) and I can't really love God until I start loving THAT person.
Pastor Chris gave us some very practical tools that can help us navigate conflict among each other, in marriages, as parents, etc. Conflict can be good, if the goal is redemption.
The phrase we used, comes out of verse 15
"I am going to speak the truth in love so that we grow to be more like Jesus Christ."
