Life often feels overwhelming with work stress, relationships, and cultural pressures, but there's an invisible spiritual war happening around us right now. This battle involves three enemies: the devil who uses deception and discouragement, the world system that promotes life without God, and our own flesh that seeks immediate gratification. God provides spiritual armor for this fight, including the shield of faith which requires active trust in daily decisions, the helmet of salvation that protects our identity as God's children, and the sword of the Spirit which is God's Word spoken aloud. Victory comes through daily practice with these weapons and finding others to stand with us in battle, because Christianity is a team sport and isolation leads to vulnerability.
