All Saints Sunday is a special time in the United Methodist Church when we pause to remember and give thanks for the saints who have gone before us. As we honor those who have passed away, we celebrate the lasting impact of their faith, love, and witness in our lives. It is a time of remembrance, reflection, and hope as we give thanks for the promise of eternal life through Jesus Christ. Together, we remember that while those we love are no longer with us, their legacy of faith continues to live on in the hearts of those they touched.
Based on Philippians 3:7–14 (NLT), this message reminds us that following Christ means letting go of the things the world considers valuable so we can pursue what matters most: knowing Jesus and growing in our relationship with Him. The Apostle Paul teaches us to release the past, press forward in faith, and continually pursue God’s purpose for our lives.
Today's message is rooted in 1 John 2:15–17 (NLT), reminding us to be mindful of where we place our hearts, our priorities, and our devotion. As we explore these verses, we'll be challenged to look beyond the temporary attractions of this world and focus on what truly matters—living in God's will and pursuing the things that have eternal value.
Today's message is from Pastor Fred Dearing from text, Isaiah 43:1-3; NLT, Matthew 28:20; 22:37-40 NLT.
Today's message is from scripture 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 NLT.
Today's message comes from scripture based out of 1 Peter 4:7-11 NLT from the message series, A FRESH START.
