After recently completing the Oombulgurri Track in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia there were a few episodes to load. I thought the best way was to preface it with a warts and all account from a customer who just paid, drove and completed the track.

The Oombulgurri Track is like nothing else on the 4WD Agenda in Australia. Nothing else compares to the length, challenge and remoteness of this track. It's 400k's and 15 days of hardcore 4WD'ing. If you've never heard of the Oombulgurri Track or have it on your bucket list strap in as I publish a few episodes about driving this iconic adventure.

In this first one I talk a bout preparation for the vehicle, food planning, water supply. How much it costs, how to book, what to expect. I will quote Graham Cahill from 4WD247 fame at the Kunnanurra pub on the Wednesday before we left to do the track. "It's the best track I've ever done"
