The Ope Podcast

This is part 1 of Abby introducing the new format of the podcast. Or at least her hopes and dreams for the pod! One of her girlfriends, Saige, guests hosts with her. They deep dive all of the important questions that need answered including the crazy/hot scale. Tune in next week to hear Saige’s Ope Story!

These true crime girlies talk about why they think the serial killer population has gone down. Nicki drops a bomb on the listeners and explains why she is breaking up with the podcast. Abby deep dives the Adnan Syed case from Serial and the new Netflix show Dahmer. She makes a confession that involves Taylor Swift. Don’t ever call Abby “hun” if you’re interested in dating her. She tells the listeners about a few recent dating red flags. Abby realized recently that she wants to be held at night. The Ope Story includes lots of shredded cheese and going through an ex’s phone.

Abby and Nicki discuss the last 2 episodes of House of Dragon. Abby tells Nicki about a TikTok that includes her least favorite position and 12 hours of filming. The girls deep dive what they consider a homie hopper and if there’s a statute of limitations on it. Abby and Nicki have their first argument on the podcast. Abby goes back to Ohio, but it won’t be her last adventure there this year. Nicki went to a beautiful wedding with lots of single men, cheesecake, and unlimited booze which is Abby’s dream. Nicki made a purchase to help her relationship which may include football season. The girls discuss Glennon Doyle’s podcast and deep dive what goes on in their crazy minds. This week’s topic is a deep dive on alcoholism, addiction, Al-Anon, and childhood trauma. To respect the listener’s time, we’re pushing the Ope Story to next week.

Abby learns she shouldn’t drink and try to publish the podcast. Nicki gives Sam a special honey do list to prepare for Christmas. The girls talk about the importance of expressing your love and doing what makes you happy because of brain aneurysms. Abby asks Nicki who her first love was and why she fell in love with them. They talk about nudes and thirst traps. Abby’s Ope Story involves Wellbutrin and shape wear.

Abby visits Ohio twice in one week and picks up a new pickup line. She now wants to move to the Perrysburg’s chipotle. Abby and Nicki discuss if it’s ever appropriate to wait on someone to be ready for love. Demi Lovato’s song, 29, inspired a confession from Nicki and Abby. *TW* Nicki shows her vulnerability by opening up about living with an eating disorder. Abby’s Ope Story was inspired by the Columbus Chicken Chase which may include a stranger and her butt.

Nicki and Abby start the episode discussing T Swifts sexuality after watching the same Tik Tok conspiracy theory. The Ope Girls share their takes on what automobiles they think are hot and what are NOT. In this Episode Nicki really talks about what it was like growing up in a super conservative catholic home and Abby compares her moms more lax parenting style to the crazy shenanigans they found themselves in during their youth. Nicki takes home the Ope Story with a kayaking disaster that caused a tad bit of tension between her brother and Sam.

Nicki and Abby do a FMK which includes good vibes. They ponder over the age old question, “would you rather love and loss or to never have loved at all.” The ladies give the listeners an update on Nicki’s former soulmate. Nicki is completely free from FOMO. The ladies deep dive all things Bachelorette, Kardashians and the celebrities that Abby is obsessed with.
