Some conversations should stay in the group chat. This isn’t one of them.
This week, Mercedes and Kacie are joined by our special guest Jose, and let’s just say… adding another personality to the table was probably a questionable decision. 💀
No script. No agenda. No adult supervision.
Just three people, unfiltered opinions, hilarious stories, questionable decisions, and conversations that could go absolutely anywhere.
It’s Gen Z vs. Millennials, and nobody is safe! We’re talking throwback music, iconic TV shows, childhood memories, generational differences, questionable trends, and all the things that make us wonder how we survived growing up.
Add in some unpopular opinions, dating disasters, embarrassing moments, red flags, green flags, and things we probably shouldn’t admit out loud… and you’ve officially got a group chat gone rogue.
Nothing is off the table, and absolutely nobody knows where this conversation is headed.
🍽️ Pull up a chair. The group chat has officially entered the building.
Real conversations. Raw truth. Room to grow.

Healing Is Ghetto: Doing It Scared, Tired & Slightly Unhinged
I survived, but I’d like to file a complaint. 😂🍷
Because apparently, personal growth requires emotional damage, questionable decisions, and a whole lot of unsolicited life lessons.
This week, Mercedes and Kacie are talking about doing hard things, whether we signed up for them or life volunteered us as tribute.
We’re diving into fear, uncomfortable decisions, unexpected changes, starting over, and the moments that forced us to grow when all we wanted was a little peace.
And let’s be clear: HEALING IS GHETTO. Nobody warned us about the emotional exhaustion, uncomfortable realizations, and having to be the bigger person when we’d much rather be petty.
We’re laughing through the chaos, grieving the versions of ourselves we’ve outgrown, and figuring out how to keep moving forward, even when we’re scared, tired, and slightly unhinged.
Because we survived, we learned, we grew… but we’d still like to file a complaint. 💀
🍽️ Pull up a chair. Growth wasn’t optional, but at least we can laugh about it.
Real conversations. Raw truth. Room to grow.

Turns out, loving people and letting them do whatever they want are not the same thing. Who knew? 😂
In Episode 2 of The Open Table: Reserved or Canceled, Mercedes and Kacie are talking boundaries: what they actually are, what they aren’t, and why something that sounds so simple can be so damn hard to put into practice.
We get honest about our own struggles with boundaries, how badly we misunderstood them at first, and what we’ve learned about setting them, communicating them, and actually sticking to them.
Can you expect someone to respect a boundary you never communicated? Does setting a boundary mean cutting someone off? What happens when someone you love doesn’t like the limits you’ve set? And how do you stop feeling guilty for protecting your own peace?
We’re figuring it out right alongside you, because growth doesn’t always look graceful. Sometimes it looks like finally saying, “That doesn’t work for me anymore.”
Pull up a chair. This conversation might make you rethink who has a seat at your table… and what kind of access comes with it. 🪑

Welcome to The Open Table: Reserved or Canceled with Cedes & Kacie. ☀️🌙
In our very first episode, we’re pulling up a chair and letting you into the friendship behind the microphones. We’re talking about who we are, why this podcast exists, and how two very different women somehow ended up at the same table.
We get into self-love, healing, inner growth, motivation, boundaries, and doing hard things, including what it means to love who you are while still being a work in progress.
And because no table is complete without a little chaos, we’re introducing our signature segments: Reserved or Canceled, No Topic Off Limits, and Leave It at the Table, where we decide what deserves a seat in our lives, say some of the things people usually keep to themselves, and figure out what we’re leaving behind and what we’re taking with us.
This isn’t a podcast about having it all figured out. It’s about showing up anyway.
Real conversations. Raw truth. Room to grow.
Pull up a chair. Your seat’s open. 🪑✨
See you in the crowd.
