I am so excited today because am going to be talking about something that everyone always asks me about – what type of opt in they should create. It’s a common struggle because it’s easy to feel like you have to create the same thing as everyone else in order to be successful at it.

So, you might do a challenge or an email course because it was successful for someone else with the idea that it’s definitely going to work for you and most often times it does not (from my experience), at all OR, it does work a little but it feels kind of icky. When you are creating an opt in there are a few things that you should definitely consider and that’s what I want to talk to you about in today’s episode.

So you are all ready to create a course (and maybe even have created the course) but when you launch it you can't help but ask yourself "how do I sell an online course", am I right? Without a list or large following, it's going to be hard to nurture subscribers and get people to actually click that buy button. Creating an Opt in that relates directly to your course content will help you build a list of people who will be more likely be interested in the course itself (which will make the selling part a whole lot easier).

Quizzes are fun and fantastic Opt ins! They provide people with instant gratification, if people engage with the quiz, they love to see their results from the quiz. For me anyway, quizzes bring back a lot of nostalgia for the magazine style quizzes that I'd take in magazines like Seventeen or Cosmopolitan when I was younger.
