We've been talking about how "marriage mirrors the gospel," but we have been dancing around a few verses that have historically been misused in the church to elevate men and to keep women down. This is my attempt for us to faithfully understand what this passage really says and to learn to dance the way God intended us to dance!

We Christians aren't really good at talking about our sex lives, but the Bible actually takes a definitive stand for you, that might actually surprise you!

We all have some image of our spouse. That image is usually informed by their past successes and failures, and/or their present circumstances. But, does my image of my spouse match up with God's image of them? What would it take for me to see my spouse through God's eyes?

Real marriage isn't necessarily what you see on Instagram and Facebook. Sometimes it can be hard. Sometimes it can cause pain. Sometimes it can cause suffering... But ALWAYS, Jesus wants to work in and through our marriages

Breaking up is hard to do. Divorce rips families apart and causes all kinds of untold pain in people's lives. No wonder God hates it! But that isn't the main reason he hates it... God is clear with us in His Word why He hates divorce.

You and I are called to be "more than conquerers." Unfortunately, so many believers feel conquered. How can you not just be a conqueror, but be MORE than a conqueror?

Sometimes it can feel like you have nothing but a bad future ahead of you.. But Jesus calls you to RE/VISION your future!

If you are going to have a clear vision for your life, you need to know where you are pointing!

How do you even know if you are living in victory or defeat? You have to know the plot line of the story... And I think we believers have devolved into a cheap, disfigured retelling of the story. Maybe the whole point isn't what you thought it was. Let's look at what the actual story of the Bible is all about!
