I’m Amy Nasseri and this is the orgasm lab podcast – a podcast devoted to helping women achieve better sexual health and pleasure.
In today’s episode, you are going to hear the real-life experience of someone who has dealt with a sexual pain disorder. It's called Vestibulodynia. My guest gives us an all-access pass. We hear about what it was like growing up for her, what it was like discovering what her real issue was and what it’s been like finding the expert help that she needed.
This woman is an incredible advocate for the sexual medicine field and what it can do for those of us who are suffering.

I know it's been a while but I am so so so thrilled to introduce Dr. Rachel Rubin as the second sexual health expert to be interviewed for the Orgasm Lab Podcast!
Dr. Rachel S. Rubin is a board-certified urologist and sexual medicine specialist. She is one of only a handful of physicians with fellowship training in sexual medicine for all genders. Dr. Rubin is a clinician, researcher, and passionate educator. In addition to being education chair for the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH), she serves as an associate editor for the journal Sexual Medicine Reviews. Dr. Rubin completed her medical education at Tufts University, her urology training at Georgetown University, and her sexual medicine fellowship training with Dr. Irwin Goldstein in San Diego.
Dr. Rubin is fierce, funny and we are so fortunate to have her fighting for those of us who struggle with sexual health issues. Listen in as she talks about low libido, hormone therapy, menopause, labia surgery, and more. Happy listening friends!

The homework series is here!
In this episode listen to the first exercise your host Amy gives to help increase the amount of sexual pleasure you can feel.
We're going right back to basics in this first episode (the basics that actually matter), but make sure you listen in to the rest because there are some amazing exercises to come. And the best part - these exercises come straight from the professionals and they're backed by science.
