The "Rally on the Colors" Podcast has returned with yet another episode from the ORs. In this episode, Bill and Steve discuss the importance of the Shenandoah Valley during the Civil War from a strategic and logistical level. This episode is a "broad stroke" view of the Shenandoah Valley and does not specifically focus on any one specific period of time during the Civil War. This episode is meant to serve as a "gateway" episode to follow-on episodes about the campaigns, battles and skirmishes that were fought in the region from 1861 through 1865.
