Welcome to episode 1 of season 2 of The Ortho Plug podcast! This is a fantastic episode where we speak with Dr. Victoria Olidopo, who at the time of our conversation, had just graduated medical school and was preparing to start residency. 🎙️ About the show
The Ortho Plug is the podcast that delves into the minds of some of the most inspiring orthopedic surgeons in the country. They share their story to orthopedics and the strategies they used (or wished they used) to get to where they are now. But what makes this show so special is that each guest either comes from an underrepresented background, or are actively supporting those that do! Few things are more inspiring than hearing the stories from amazing orthopedic surgeons who you resonate with. It will continue to be this show's goal to share as many stories as possible with the hope that you find confidence and empowerment in your own.

Hello and welcome to episode 7 of The Ortho Plug. The podcast where I get to speak with some of the most successful, inspiring and really just coolest orthopedic surgeons in country. And one thing that makes them particularly special, is they either come from underrepresented backgrounds, or are actively supporting those that do. This is an amazing episode where I had the pleasure of speaking with Dr. Vince Morgan - PGY 3 orthopedic surgery resident at Rush University. We all say we’re passionate about service, but Vince truly embodies this, particularly for his home and the Chicago community. He shares his story, tons of wisdom for students wanting to get to where he is, and given that we’re in the thick of interview season, he also highlights a few things current applicants can do to succeed on interview day. Now I do have to apologize in advance for some audio difficulties with this episode, but sticking it out for this wisdom is worth it and I’m sure you’re still going to love this episode.
