In 1971, the CIA wrote a brief, secret report condemning the “antisemitism” from “hardliners” in the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. At that point, the CIA set its sights on – not the destruction of Leninism – but of Russian nationalism, which they conflated with “Stalinism.” It was only made available in 2015. It goes far in answering the questions: Why did the Jewish liberals take over Russia in 1991-1992? Why were there no real patriotic organizations that had any power in this era?
