Sall Grover is the Australian founder of an independent female-only social media, networking platform and app called ‘Giggle’.
Giggle was created by Sall as a platform centred around women connecting with, and supporting, other women. The purpose was to provide an app that allowed women to safely connect; an important consideration when dealing with strangers. Giggle used biometric technology to scan faces to ensure the app remained single-sex.
Sall is being taken to court because she wants her Giggle app to remain female-only.
Sall Grover has been tremendously supportive of lesbian and bisexual women on her Giggle app over the years, and all women's need to have female-only spaces.
This is a landmark case that is about to go to the Federal Court. If Sall Grover wins the case, it will be a big victory for sex-based rights, not just for all women but for LGB people across Australia too.

Ep 219i The Other Side Interviews SCOTT PELTO Business and Economics Commentator
Lots of Aussies are starting to really hurt by inflation, but not many of us really understand why it’s happening because of all the political spin and lies.
Scott Pelto describes himself as ‘just an ordinary businessman’ but his background and achievements suggest otherwise. His take on where the country is heading, and why, make for fascinating viewing. Scott’s ability to explain Economics and Politics in simple terms everyone can understand is a breath of fresh air and clarity, in a world full of confusing ideas and competing opinions.
Scott is not a politician, nor is he an academic. He’s someone with real-world experience who truly understands how the ‘game’ is played. He is the commercial manager of a law firm in Brisbane city and has such serious concerns about the direction of the nation, he’s decided to go public about it. Scott finished high school in the 1980s and went into the police force for 11 years where he spent 5 years as a criminal law prosecutor. He completed a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Government, Australian Political History and Public Administration, and also a Bachelor Commerce that took him into Accounting. He became an Auditor eventually heading up the Brisbane office for the forensic accounting division of the Global Big-4 accounting and consulting firm Deloitte. Marriage and family came along, and Scott started a thriving inner-city law firm with his wife, a leading Australian corporate lawyer.

Qantas is the latest company to foolishly go where brands should never tread: into divisive political issues.
Given the number of failed ‘woke’ marketing efforts lately, you’d think brands would learn. But the trend persists. Why?
The Other Side Interviews host Damian Coory – himself an expert with 20 years’ experience in PR - discusses with Sydney-based Branding and Advertising expert Sean Masters why brands appear to be so keen to commit a kind of suicide when the risks are so obvious,
What is driving brands to make all the obviously wrong decisions in jumping on political ‘causes’ and social movements that don’t reflect the majority of their customers?
Have the woke kids taken over the marketing and PR departments like their HR friends? Or is there another, more hidden, explanation driving these apparently self-destructive strategies?

Some people sit around complaining about the way the world should be. Others do something about it. Graeme Haycroft falls into the latter category.
Graeme is the creator of the RED UNION – a group of alternative labour unions without links to the Labor Party, for people who want workplace protection without the left-wing woke politics attached. Now the RED UNION has 13 Unions and a formidable 17,000 members serving teachers, nurses, doctors and many other workers across nearly all states.

In many former European colonies August the first is Emancipation Day celebrating the abolition of slavery throughout the British Empire almost two centuries ago.
And while our postmodern sensibilities drive our cultural institutions to fixate on the offence of the latter fact, the sin of slavery (an offence shared across almost every culture on earth universally) we do not focus enough on the extraordinary reality of the first fact, emancipation, which was extremely rare across history and cultures.
Not only did Britain abolish slavery at home at the turn of the 19th century and across the Empire fewer than four decades later, but it policed the entire international slave trade across the Atlantic at great national expense.
Professor Nigel Biggar is a British Anglican priest, theologian, and ethicist.

There are few people who have impacted the independent media scene in Australia as much as Rebel News Australia editor AVI YEMENI. As Damian notes in this tell-all interview, Avi is a man who makes the energizer bunny look like a zombie. By 20 years of age he’d lived more life than many do by 60. His relentless coverage of the other side of the story during Covid, amid a Melbourne professional media class that were all too enamoured by Dan Andrews and busy towing the party line, is well known to his fans.
What's less known is the wild journey that began the moment of his birth in Melbourne in 1985. Born the 10th of 17 kids in his family, raised in an Ultra-Orthodox Jewish home, expelled from schools and out of control, Avi was given an ultimatum by his parents and left home to live on the streets at 14. Within a year, battling a life-threating drug addiction, he returned, determined to straighten himself out. What followed was the Israeli Army and an unusual turn of events that led him to on-line news reporting.

Ep213i - The Other Side Interviews ROB McMULLAN - Natural Law Expert
This week we go deep!
What is NATURAL LAW? Can this philosophy help to explain the weird times we're living through?
Damian spends some time trying to understand the concept of Natural Law - one of the philosophies that led to the founding principles of the United States - with Natural Law expert, Rob McMullan.
Is it immoral to be selfish? What did Anglo-British thinking get right? What is entropy and what does it have to do with how we live our lives? Is the left-right paradigm the right way to view politics and economics? Get ready to explore some interesting ideas as Damian tries to wrap his medium-sized brain around a big-brain theory Rob has been studying for some time.

Dr Kevin Donnelley is an educator, author and social commentator who has written extensively about the origins of the cultural phenomena known as “woke” and its earlier incarnation, “political correctness”. These seemingly ‘nice and harmless’ trends are actually very unpleasant and dangerous. And they haven’t appeared out of nowhere - they have been deliberately driven for decades by political activists seeking to fundamentally change the values that made the west free and prosperous.

Distinguished US constitutional expert and former Harvard University Law School Professor Alan Dershowitz has a stark warning for Australia in this in-depth interview with Damian Coory: reject the cancel culture nonsense of the US and modern ‘woke’ identity politics and keep the law and politics separate. A self-proclaimed liberal Democratic Party voter, Prof Dershowitx, now 84, taught at the Ivy League school from 1964 to 2013. He has represented such celebrity clients as Mike Tyson,, Julian Assange, and Bill Clinton, he advised on the O. J. Simpson, trial and was a member of President Donald Trump's defense team in his first impeachment trial in 2020.
Professor Dershowitz joins us from New York and – among more serious matters - explains why he lost one of his best friends, comedian and Seinfeld creator, Larry David.
