Sometimes the people we let in are the ones who reopen wounds we thought had already healed. In this episode, I’m tapping into my feelings and sharing that while it’s okay to be strong, it’s okay to sit in your feelings as well. Allow yourself to feel, to process, and heal at your own pace.
So, if you've experienced heartbreak or gone through things that molded you into the person you are today, just know that you are not alone. And that goes for men as well. It's ok to be in touch with your emotions. Our past doesn't define us!
Welcome to The Other Side of Me. I'm Mel.
This first episode, I'm introducing myself and sharing why I created The Other Side Of Me.
As a healthcare worker, I'm used to putting my feelings aside to show up for others, whether it's my patients, family, friends, the people who needs me. But This podcast isn't just for healthcare workers. It's for anybody who's used to being the strong one, the person everybody leans on, the one who checks on everybody but doesn't get asked, "Are you ok?"
This space is for real life conversations, mental health, relationships, healthcare, and pretty much everything in between.
This is the beginning, and I invite you to join me as we explore The Other Side Of me.
