As a professional physiotherapist, she describes the changes she has made with spending for groceries and entertainment, managing bills (including a cool tip on getting discounts ;) ) and interestingly, her perspective with saving and investing in this current times.

The UK has been in a cost of living crisis for a few months now and our community has been concerned about how students, and recent graduates are faring in our community and beyond. This episode was a reflective one, with Chidi and Soore expressing their feelings and thoughts about the year so far. A mix of being “Grateful” for the “troublesome” year. 

How studying this year was different in lockdown: On the bright side, they could live wherever they wanted and save on accommodation costs, different exam schedules. How different it was meeting people virtually and not getting that cosmopolitan feel while studying in the UK.

There’s no one size fits all way to manage studying and working. So our guests advise for incoming students to know what their university’s module structure is like and decide how they choose to work.
