Toronto-based lawyer, Lavinia Latham, built her online community Fine Natural Hair ROCKS featuring healthy hair tips and tricks for women with fine and fragile natural hair. After spending countless hours searching the Internet for natural hair care information, Lavinia was unable to find any hair advice that would properly address her particular type of natural hair.

As such, Lavinia struggled to retain length and continued to experience a significant amount of hair breakage, stunted growth, and minimal length retention despite meticulously following the popular natural hair care regimens and methods.

Lavinia then began @FineNaturalHairROCKS on Instagram in order to personally document her fine natural hair growth journey. As the natural hair movement continued to explode, naturals across the globe began following. @FineNaturalHairROCKS for healthy fine natural hair tips and tricks. Today, @FineNaturalHairROCKS has amassed an Instagram following of over 2,400 Curlfriends and a Facebook following of over 2,300 Curlfriends to whom she continues to share proven methods, tips, and tricks for growing long and strong fine natural hair.

Kim is an experienced and passionate social entrepreneur, who loves bringing ideas to life. Kim has bootstrapped over $100K in external funding to bring her ideas to life and if she had to choose her superpower, it would definitely be curiosity— as she loves asking questions, learning new things & thinking of creative ways to spread the word about what she's building. With an unwavering desire for new experiences, combined with a dedication to hard work and social impact, she has managed to forge a path that is uniquely hers. Her most recent projects have been building an online accelerator for women identified entrepreneurs and figuring out how to develop a product that provides intersectional support for WOC/marginalized folks to have more fulfilling work lives without burning out

Victory Omotayo is a change-maker, entrepreneurial activist and founder of Twenty-Four Hour Woman, the first virtual early-stage startup incubator training non-technical women budding entrepreneurs on how to turn their passion/expertise into a profitable business, online, and on social.

She is extremely passionate about empowering women and uplifting their voices and is sought after for her expertise in women empowerment, personal development, owning your authentic story, and has been featured in the press and podcasts where she speaks to the importance of female business ownership.

A Masters of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology graduate from the University of Waterloo, Victory is a multi-passionate serial entrepreneur who ran her previous e-commerce business solo for a year before she exited and sold it in 2018. She is a Forbes Global Fellow and sits on the Advisory Board for Cornell University's entrepreneurship program focused on women in STEM, W.E. Cornell.

Yasmin Alamaddine is the creator and host of Witty podcast: Women In Tech Talk to Yaz, a bi-monthly podcast about women disrupting the technology industry. In her free time, Yasmin focuses on empowering women in the tech industry through her podcast, volunteering for ShEO and the Anita Borg Institute, and speaking on female entrepreneurship at conferences and panels. Yasmin will be pursuing a Masters of Science in Data Journalism at Columbia University in the fall of 2019.
