Spending 20 years in the regular Army and 16 more in the Reserve Army, he was a pioneer in establishing cyber security protocols and procedures and in identifying attackers, including hostile Nation States and Criminal Organizations. After 9/11, he was called back into uniform for two years to serve as the Operations Officer for the entire Army Operations Network and Security Center.
