On the evening of April 30, 1977, we were sitting at dinner after a busy, strenuous day. Gathered around the table were: Engelbert Waechter, Adolf Berroth, Jacobus Bertschinger, Hans Schutzbach, Billy, his wife, and me. Adolf and Billy worked until around 8:45 p.m. in the coach house, where they had installed a staircase. I helped a little. Our work was almost finished for today. Only the heavy cast iron stove, which was on the street in front of the coach house, had to be moved by about 1 meter.
After dinner, around 9:10 p.m., Billy asked for volunteers to transport the oven. Since everyone knew that the Art Nouveau monster weighs around 500 kg, of course no one came forward. Our suggestions were to leave the stove behind and haul it away with the tractor on Monday. Billy reminded us that the oven couldn't be left lying there for two days, but at the same time he admitted that the work "stinks" to him.
We discussed things back and forth for a while until one of us realized that one actually had to be able to use telekinesis to do such things, so we let our imaginations run wild. Two or three times during our conversation, I noticed that Billy seemed to be fixating on a particular spot on the table, completely absent-minded. But I didn't pay any attention to him, but rather took part in our chatter by contributing my part to the stupid sayings.
"He's Danish," Billy said amidst our laughter. Astonished and incredulous, we asked: "The oven?" "Sure," was the laconic answer. "That's no good — how will you do it again?" we wanted to know. Quite simply, he telekinetically tipped the oven over twice. In orde
