It’s a quiet week in the land of Overwatch. Amy and JF try to figure out what Blizzard has up their sleeve next.

News is thin on the ground as the anniversary event wraps up and the new competitive season begins. JF has had some time to think about Hammond and the results are pretty out there.

Pow! Zoom! Straight to the moon! That’s right, boys and girls, we’re going to the moon. The newest Overwatch map is live on the PTR and there’s plenty of story hidden there, including hints as to the next hero.

The anniversary event has arrived and it’s more expansive than we expected. There are loads of skins, dance emotes, voice lines, and sprays, with three new revamped game modes in the arcade.

In this week’s episode, the Overwatch League gains more legitimacy, Blizzard releases stats for Uprising, the next event is teased, and we learn that JF’s cat is a spy for Blizzard.

It’s a mixed bag on this week’s show. A professional streamer gets himself in some trouble, the 32 teams of the World Cup have been announced, and tons of Overwatch stuff has come with Heroes of the Storm 2.0.

The Overwatch event ‘Uprising’ is live, and it manages to deliver both less and more than JF and Amy were hoping.

In anticipation of the April 11th event, Blizzard releases a comic which leaves JF and Amy speculating on some of the Overwatch world’s shadier characters.
