Liv Collins and Jesse Thomas Cook join us this week to talk about their film “Deadsight”, where a pregnant cop teams up with a blind man during a zombie apocalypse. Liv and Jesse talk about their influences and filming in the Canadian wilderness. In the intro, the boys cover breaking news and go over their screening of “Descent into Darkness”. Billy Lewis translated his time in TV news into directing feature films. He joins the boys this week to talk about his unconventional entrance into the film industry and his newest film “The Terrible Two”.

Alexis Kendra did not plan on becoming a screenwriter when she moved to Los Angeles, but after writing and starring in two features, she can’t imagine doing anything else. Alexis joins the boys this week to talk about her newest film, “The Cleaning Lady” and how writing strong female characters is her passion.

Not many people can say their debut film played at the esteemed Cannes Film Festival, but this week’s guest Katrin Gebbe can. Katrin joins the boys to talk about her newest film “A Nocturnal Breath” which is a part of genre anthology “The Field Guide to Evil”. She also talks about the painfully true story that led her to make her first film, “Nothing Bad Can Happen”.

In the intro, Randy doesn’t appreciate Clark and Russ’s bit for “Her Smell”. Clark talks about the latest Soderbergh iPhone film while Russ took a chance on “Midget Zombie Takeover”.
