If you're a follower of Jesus, then He expects you to be diligent and excellent in EVERYTHING that you do! That's just how His kingdom is set up. And that also ensures that God the Father is exalted in all we do, which is one of our earthly requirements. But also friends, when we do stuff with diligence and excellence it causes others to want to be like us, that's a follower of Jesus; so it's also part and parcel of our discipleship. And the best part is that eventually we will reap the reward of inheritance from the Father. Now, that should make us want to be ever so diligent and excellent in all we do, for we know that the rewards at the end will be ever so marvellous and glorious! Much LOVE!
