God made us and God still controls us, thus we are beholden to Him for the paths we tread in this life. However, since God's ways are higher than ours, and although He has given us free will to choose our own paths, His direction for our lives will always be much more productive and amenable than ours. That's why it's ever so important that we accept God's plan for our lives and walk it like He lays it out. Just look at the example of Mary, Christ's mother. When she was told about her upcoming incarnate conception, she didn't moan and groan and complain, although it would surely muddy the waters of her young life. She simply accepted God's plan, knowing that if He brought her to it, He would also bring her through it. It's the same with Jesus. He didn't really want to go to the cross and suffer such pain and indignity, but because the Father asked it of Him, and He knew the great purpose behind it, He went to the cross, all for our benefit. So please, let's stop complaining when we go through a li'l hard time for Jesus' sake.Much LOVE!
