Oh friends, a good name is something we should all aspire to have, more than wealth or power. As Shakespeare says in his play 'Othello,' "he who steals my purse, steals trash, but he who steals my good name makes me poor indeed." And that's oh so true, for a good reputation is worth so much more than worldly wealth, and once your name is tarnished, it's oh so hard to regain the respect. Wise and sensible men respect those whose names are not tarnished by evil doing more than they respect the rich and powerful! And in God's kingdom, a good name is highly valued because it sits with the just and righteous, who have God's favour and blessing. Therefore, let's not be foolish and do anything to tarnish our good names! Much LOVE!
