It's very simple friends; if we forgive those that do us wrong, we also get forgiven for our wrongdoings. However, if we don't forgive, then we won't be forgiven by our heavenly Father either. So it's simple common sense that if we desire God's forgiveness then we must be forgiving to our earthly brothers! It couldn't get any simpler or plainer than that. And Jesus spent a lot of time trying to get that simple equation into our stubborn and hard-hearted hearts. But we still practice unforgiveness while seeking forgiveness. How foolish!
