It's oh so easy to say we believe and have faith and all that, but like James says, if we have faith but no works our faith is dead and useless. That means we need to not only talk the talk, but also walk the walk, and we can't walk it unless we're prepared to sacrifice ourselves in some form and fashion and also be obedient to God's Word and Will. And therein lies the dilemma of today's Christians; we want to live the abundant life but not do the things it requires. That's impossible, because the abundant life calls for giving up stuff and being obedient in our walk with God! So, in this new year of 2024, let's promise ourselves to be true believers in Christ and obediently and sacrificially do the things He desires of us. We'll never regret it! Much LOVE!
